Chả Giò (Nems)
Cha Gio is an innovative dish based on the popularity of rice paper in Vietnam. However, you are wrong if you think Cha Gio is a fried Goi Cuon. The main ingredients of Cha Gio are not vegetables but meat and vermicelli. It does not have a lot of vegetables inside, but instead we wrap Cha Gio with vegetables and herbs when we eat. It is enjoyed from the crispy outer layer of vegetables to the soft herb layer then back to the golden crust of Cha Gio and the meat inside.
